I used to use a free application called K-Maps (http://kmaps.ulocate.com/) which allowed me to use Google Maps on my Treo 650. I can’t tell you how useful that was. Apparently, Google thought so too. They’ve developed their own version of Google Maps for the Treo (Palm OS only). It is a much less buggy application and downloads faster than K-Maps, though I find it is not nearly as forgiving when searching for street names. Other than that, it’s another fine example of Google releasing an useful tool that further cements its reputation as a company well in tune with its customers’ needs.
